[589] THE GREAT RECONFIGURATION

A map of a world moving from one system to another. The top half reflects an order built around US dominance, globalisation, open markets and Western institutions. Below, that structure begins to fragment into competing centres of power, regional blocs, new alliances, technologies and systems of trade.

The figures represent power at different scales. Some dominate, others emerge, overlap or compete. The lines between them suggest a world that remains deeply connected even as consensus begins to break down.

The work isn’t predicting what replaces the old order. It is about the unstable period in between - when one system is losing its shape and the next has yet to fully form.
