Beneath an African Sky.
I grew up under Apartheid in South Africa: Separate Development, Homelands, Pass Laws, townships on fire, a State of Emergency, the police and army a facet of daily life.
Yet I also spent my formative years soaking in the raw humanity and painful beauty of this continent – playing on the ocean, and searching for lions in the African bush.
