My first new piece that combines my love of mazes, my love of Congolese textiles (known as Kuba textiles), and my daily habit of recording news headlines.

Kuba textiles are unique to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire), and known for their elaborate and complex design and surface decoration. Most textiles are a variation on rectangular or square pieces of woven palm leaf fibre enhanced by geometric designs executed in linear embroidery and other stitches.
